Terms of service

These terms apply to repair, trade-in, IT support, and website & app services offered by GlobMicroFix in the United States, through this site and at the workshop (900 Chicon Street, Austin, TX 78702, United States).

Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Sales tax may apply depending on your location. A repair quote is only due after you accept it. Submitting a repair or trade-in request is free. Project quotes for IT support or websites & apps are shared before work begins.

Repairs

We diagnose first, share a quote, then proceed after you accept. If you decline the quote, you get the device back. Workshop warranty: 90 days on the repair performed (parts and labor covered), except damage, liquid exposure, or unrelated failures.

Trade-ins

Trade-in proposals are evaluated by our team. An offer is not binding until we confirm it in writing and both parties agree. Device condition must match the description you provide. See also our trade-in policy.

IT support, websites & apps

Scoped work is defined in a quote or statement of work. Changes outside that scope may require an updated quote. Delivery timelines are estimates unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment

Cards via Stripe. GlobMicroFix never sees your full card numbers. Optional legacy providers may appear if configured by the operator. Payment is confirmed only when the provider confirms it.

Claims and warranty

For an accepted and completed repair, the workshop warranty applies. For other services, contact us promptly at support@globmicrofix.com. Each case is reviewed in good faith.

How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy. By accepting a quote or using our services, you agree to these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We first seek an amicable resolution; otherwise, courts in Travis County, Texas, have jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
